We need your help in "  Taking a bite out of crime  ".   If you have any information regarding a crime that occurred or any knowledge of a crime that may occur, please drop us a line.  You can send us an email at:

You can send an email totally anonymous, so nobody will know who sent the message, however you may provide us with your name, phone number, etc. if you wish (it's up to you).  You may also call 265-TIPS.

Once again, we need your help. By you getting involved,  you will be doing your part in making this township a safer and more enjoyable place to live, work and play.

Everyone shares an abiding concern about the safety of your children.  That's why the West Deer Township Police, the Deer Lakes School District and North Pittsburgh Telephone Company have established a tips line for students, parents and other interested citizens to report potential criminal incidents, so that police and school officials can halt trouble before it happens.

is the phone number that has been set up and equipped with voice-mail technology for use by the West Deer Township Police Department.  The line and voice-mail technology are being donated by the North Pittsburgh Telephone Company.  The Deer Lakes Schools are also assisting by providing 265-TIPS information to their students and parents, as well as sponsoring ongoing safety training for teachers and other staff members.

265-TIPS is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and callers are not required to identify themselves, although they may do so.
