27th Annual Toys for Children Drive

 

The West Deer Township Police Department is sponsoring the 27th annual “Toys for Children” program. This program benefits low-income families with students enrolled in the Deer Lakes School District between the ages of infant to 12 years of age. Deer Lakes School District is made up of three municipalities which includes West Deer, East Deer, and Frazer Townships.

If any resident or business wishes to make a monetary donation in lieu of toys, please make a check payable to the following:

Any money donated will be used to purchase additional toys, winter coats, hats, gloves, and wrapping supplies. Remaining monies will go to purchasing items for families that will contribute to have a Christmas dinner.

Toys can also be dropped off at the municipal building and police department located at 109 East Union Road, Cheswick PA 15024. Each location will boast a large donation box where toys can be dropped at from the hours of 7am until 4pm.

 

The drop off deadline for toys is Wednesday December 6, 2023.

 

Registration for those who are in need of gifts begins Monday November 6, 2023.
